As Director, Global Editorial and Copy at Banana Republic, I collaborated with the brand's VP of Creative and executive leadership team to shape a transformative new brand platform for the legacy American retailer. The project included redefining the brand's positioning as well as its visual and written identity — blending modern sophistication with the timeless appeal drawn from the brand's San Francisco roots and adventurous spirit.
This strategic overhaul elevated Banana Republic's relevance in today's market and set the stage for sustained business growth, contributing to a +4% comp sales lift in Q4 FY2024. By aligning creative vision with business objectives, the work ushered in a new era for the brand, capturing the attention of both loyal customers and new audiences.
